In between Starts

I was looking for if anyone has input on what to do day by day in between starts, since I will pitch probably only once a week I just need a little help setting up schedule for the week.


Stay loose. You never know when you might be called on to pitch in relief between starts. I was told long ago to throw every day, and I would play catch for about fifteen minutes, which served to keep the arm loose and flexible—so, if I had to come into the game in the seventh or eighth inning I didn’t need a lot of time to warm up. And doing a relief stint like that counts as “throwing every day”. :slight_smile:

Thats definitely the one thing thats changed for me from last year, i throw everyday.
