How to throw a cutter and sinker

I was wondering if anyone had any good grip pictures and descriptions on how to throw good cut and sinking fastballs

Read throught this thread, it has a few grips to try:

Thanks,ill give it a wirl

So pretty much an off-centered 2 seamer? Release is the same as a 4 seamer, correct?

You throw it like a fastball, but put pressure on the ball with your middle finger.

Alright, I’ll have to try that out tomorrow.

what about pictures on grips for the sinking fastball and the slider

Unless your 17 or older you shouldn’t be throwing a slider.

well, thanks for your help, yeah,i was just going by my coach’s word, and im 16

anyone else have any input/info

I am not really an expert on the sinker, but for some people it works to hold the ball like a two seamer, and apply index finger pressure, or to bring your fingers between the seam. You have to experiment and find out what works for you though.

thanks, i try it
