Hey everyone, I’m a D1 pitcher coming off Tommy John surgery and currently redshirting. My friend on the team told me about this site and I think its incredibly valuable. I’m looking forward to interacting with the forums and learning more
Welcome - when did you have TJ? And how’s your progress thus far in terms of rehabbing, arm strength, recovery time, etc.??
I’m almost 20 weeks post-op, and I should start throwing again as soon as I get cleared by the doctor when I see him next week. The rehab process has gone smoothly from the beginning. I was able to get my ROM back quickly, and my arm is feeling much stronger than it ever did before the surgery. I’m hoping that the throwing progression goes as well as my rehab so I can be on the mound next fall.
I wish you nothing but the best man!!! Make sure to get to 100% healthy and don’t try and rush things as you rehab.
Here’s to your full recovery and getting back on the bump to fire strikes!!
Welcome and good luck with the remainder of your rehab/throwing progression.
