My name is Jacob, and i am a 17 year old soon to be senior at Sparkman High school from harvest, alabama. This past summer my whole baseball career changed when i switched to sidearm pitching. I was not very effective overhand and didn’t have good command. I worked extremely hard on it in the off-season and became the team ace after pitching the first game the season, also my first varsity start, and threw a 3-hitter shutout. I went on to have an outstanding season, including throwing a 10 inning shutout in a memphis spring break tournament. The pitches i throw are a 2 seam fastball, knuckle-slider, and splitter for my changeup. My biggest weakness is my velocity which is 81-83. My goal for next season, which i know is a huge goal, is to be at 90 mph.
