I’m a right handed pitcher, and recent have been having trouble with my arm hurting. I’ve noticed it’s because when I throw my fastball, my hand turns to the inside causing the ball to come off the outside of my middle finger and off of my ring finger. Does anyone have any drills that could help fix it or insight on help changing it?
Actually, that is what is supposed to happen. Make sure your middle finger and thumb are on the centerline of the ball, and you will deliver all the energy your body develops into the ball. Your hand turning inside should not cause arm pain.
