Help moving through the balance point

for some reason, when im pitching off flat ground i move through the “balance point” and let gravity work for me. I aslo feel much more athletic.

When I get on the mound, on the other hand, I feel like i’ll rush or fall off the mound if i move through the balance point. What are some ways to fix this? Is it mental or would drills help? and what drills?

perhaps it’s your post leg. I used to hold my post leg locked with no bend in it. Now i bend it just enough so i don’t fall, but not enough where i don’t move at all.
