Healthy snacks

I was wondering what were some healthy snacks that would be an alternative to chips or other unhealthy thing.
I’ll start a list–feel free to add to it.

  1. Peanuts
  2. Cheese
  3. Yougurt

yogurt’s full of sugar, those little carton’s have like 40g of sugar so i wouldn’t recommend those myself

oatmeal, rice cakes, veggies (you can marinate a bunch of veggies at the beginning of the week and just snack out of it during the week), unsalted peanuts

personall favorite is raw spagetti/noodles.

Lots of complex carbs and good calories/energy.

For some reason I like the flavor, just have to be careful not to chew to much or you’ll destroy your teeth.

My favorites as a player were:

– All-natural peanut butter on just about anything
– Clif Bars, PowerBar Performance bars (was sponsored by PowerBar)
– Fat-free cottage cheese with mandarin orange slices
– Fat-free, sourdough pretzels (a lot of salt, but good carbs)
– Sunflower seeds, of course

how anyone can stomach that is an amazement

the chunks are the worst, i tried cottage cheese for the first time about 2 months ago and gagged my way through about 1/2 a cups worth before puking

needless to say that was a waste of $1.79 that i’ll never spend again
