Getting ready for next days game

what can you do to make sure your arm will be ready and good to go that night for next days game

I do something that I can’t tell you if it’s good or not, but I put on a long sleeve t-shirt. then I wet the area on the inside of my elbow with warm water, and then I put a heating pad over the area for about 10 minutes … moist heat, I guess you could call it … then I do the same thing on my shoulder… this is done the night before … I do it the night before the game if I feel like my arm might be a little tender.
