Getting over your front side

I hear coaches say things like “get over your front side”. What does that mean

Your head is out over (in front of) your stride foot (front foot) as you release the pitch.

Getting out over your front foot is a result of other things so you need to work on those other things. What are they? Good momentum, postural stability, late shoulder rotation (which requires good glove control).
