Fastball velocity comparison for high school

#1

hey everyone, I think itd be a good idea for everyone to list where they rank in terms of fastball velocity for people to compate to. This would prevent more people asking, “Is this good velocity for my age?” vote in the poll, then comment with FB velocity and age.

#2

75-76 MPH FB as my sig says lol.

edit: 5’ 7, 129 pounds.

#3

Ok everyone should tell weight and height too with your age.

5 foot 8 1/2 inch 15 years old
140 pounds lost 5-6 pounds due to sickness

Fb 70-73 or 74 MPH Depemds on good day or bad day it goes up and down.

Average MPH for 15, 16 year old is 70-75.

Usually at 82-83, when I put the real smoke on it 0-2 I touch 85.

Keep in mind I am a knuckleballer for the most part so if I had orthodox mechanics I might be in the 80’s.

You lanky pitchers make me laugh. Just kidding, you’re all probably a hell of a lot better than me. I’m 15 years young, 5 foot 9, 175 pounds and I throw low 70s and touch upper 70s on good days. No, I’m not fat at all either. I’m just a 3 or 5-hole hitter and the best damn receiving tight end you’ve ever done seen. 8)

Focus on training your core, especially some plyos for that area. The more torque you can create with your core the faster your arm goes forward which will make the ball have more velocity. Your legs, arm, back and everything are important but your core is your power generator.
