Fastball Fitness by Tom House Inc

This is a great book. A team of doctors broke down the pitching mechanics and performed studies on velocity and where it has come from. They say its 80% rotational forces which comes from hip/shoulder separation during the windup. I bought this book about two weeks ago, and i’ve just started one chapter of the workouts. Since then ive gained 2 mph and also 3 lbs of muscle.

I agree it’s a good book. I particularly like the first section that explains how different parts of the body create and/or transfer energy and contribute to velocity.

where did you buy it from

More to the point…can Roger use his juice with the “Big Man” to get some posters some discounts 8) ?
How bout it Roger, certifying should have some tangable rewards…look at all of the good press, happiness and good lovin this site sends Mr. Houses way?  :greenwink: :bubblegum: :roadkill: :cap:
Maybe you and La can get together and help some guys get some material…you know…some stuff at a discount. Free would be nice…but reality says Mrs. House needs new shoes so how bout some poster love goin on here?

“Fastball Fitness” costs all of $14.96 on Amazon…not a bad speculation if you’ve read the reviews and believe there might be something of value in it for you.

On the other hand, even free copies of books wouldn’t be of any use to the folks who basically don’t think they will be getting anything useful out of them. Those folks should invest their $15 somewhere else, maybe in the stock market. LOL

Are you a communist, jd? :stuck_out_tongue:

He’s probably just looking out for the cheapskates like me, flip.

I don’t know…it may start with free copies of Fastball Fitness, but I wouldn’t be surprised if his next step was required reading of mandatory free copies of “Das Kapital Kurveballski” and “My Secret Socialist Pitch Grips” by F. Castro.

It’s all part of the Domino Theory, y’know? I think that was first postulated by one of the DiMaggio bros.

oh oh you California San Fran fella!!!
Don’t get my conservative side cookin…

See ya know, this kid was raised in the Windy City…and well dem dare democrat guys taught me one ting…you scratch my back I’ll pick up your trash…don’t vote democrat? ok We just won’t fill that pot hole on your block, they got guys they call Block Captains…they keep you in line brother…reciprocity is the point…our little humble site here is a bastion of good Tom House PR, has been for the years I’ve been around…Not that it is undeserved, he has just been treated at the very least fairly…(To hear some say it…nausiatingly…not me but a close friend of mine  ) at most it’s Houseland away from the NPA site.
Now I’m no commie mind you, a capitalist til death…but it hasn’t stopped me from giving many many books (Including an occasional copy of Tuff Cuff) to our posters (At some point sharing with Steven and then eating postage as well)…to help and enrich kids…Now Tom being an ex-major leaguer, MLB Pitching Coach and a D-1 pitching coach for one of the premier programs in the nation…who gets such lovely treatment at a place where it is freely given…should…perhaps ponder some small pittance of consideration towards the kids who participate so loyally (Again it isn’t necessary to be as generous as I’ve been…but a LTP discount would be a nice gesture…I think)…is that commie?

Fastball Fitness is an excellent book. IMHO it is easier to read than Fit To Pitch. However, House still likes to speak in technical terms, and doesn’t always explain things quite as clearly as he could. Still, this is a very good book.
