External rotation-Common Problem?

Many of you may have been following or are still following my online journal. One of the big things that I’m working on in my mechanics is increasing my external rotation.

With that being said, do you all think this is a common issue among pitchers?

If so, what do you think leads to it or causes it? Lack of video feedback, injury, ‘hitches’, lack of throwing, age, etc?

I thought this would be something interesting topic to discuss since this is something I have been working on.

I guess this topic could be more geared towards arm action, since I view external rotation more of a result of good arm action.
