On my summer and fall team my coach who is an ex major league ballplayer always seems to tell me when im pitching to stay on an even keel.Never get to high or to low. You must not show emotion or let your emotions dictate your actions. From experience baseball is the most strange game, and in less than a blink of an eye things can change. So i find this piece of advice to be extremley helpful.
It is true that baseball is weird. It's very hard to not let emotions get a hold of you sometimes.
When i get worked up, i just let my catcher take control, and I know i'm worked up. I let him make the decisions for me.
