Elbow tightness

first time poster longtime observer. first off, i would like to thank you all for all the info ive picked up from these forums in the last year or so. anyway, my issue right now is my elbow is pretty sore right when i start throwing, especially my first 3 to 4 good throws. after awhile though it loosens up and i can go at it with almost no issue. i talked to the trainer and he gave me the standard stem, ice, and you’ll be fine response. has anyone else had any experience with anything like this?
