Pretty neat conference abstract that was presented in 2013 that I ran across a few weeks ago - talks about forearm posture in pronation/supination and how increased degrees of pronation in the pitching delivery are strongly correlated with increased elbow varus torque (which counters valgus torque, the primary method of UCL loading):

For those who might not know. The authors consider 0 degrees supination to be equal to the supination achieved when the arm is hanging by one’s side with no muscle activation. The calculations are done assuming 90 degrees elbow flexion as if the pitcher were at maximum external rotation or forearm layback.
