Easy to make healthy snack bar

1 cup of dates (finely chopped in a processor)
1 1/2 cups oats
1 cup of chopped almonds
1/4 cup of peanut butter
1/4 honey
chocolate chips, fresh raspberries to taste

I “bake” the oats in the over for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Chop up the dates, add them to the baked oats and almonds.
Warm the honey, peanut butter and chocolate chips over the stove in a sauce pan. Poor them over the mix of dates, oats and almonds. Mix throughly. Mashup the fresh raspberries and add as well.
Put in a pan on wax paper and into the fridge. Cut and eat.
Easy, tastes good and has no preservatives. I use natural peanut butter and local honey so there are no preservatives other than what is in the store bought oatmeal oats.
Cut into 8th is runs about 300-350 calories per bar. Team it with a glass of whole milk and you have a snack that will get you 600-700 calories and some decent nutrition as well.
