What are some reasons for me dropping my arm slot on my curveball? I think I may be flying open a bit with my glove but I’m currently trying to fix that situation.
Cound be related to what’s happening with the glove side but also sounds like you’re trying to manipulate your hand/arm position. Were you taught early on that you had to do something special to throw a curve (e.g. hooking the wrist, “snapping” the fingers, etc.)?
I was taught to snap the wrist, but I feel like I have concentrated on throwing a curve like that in a while
Just experiment until you find the right thing.
I had a curve ball that came attached to my natural sidearm delivery, and I found that by throwing with with a sharp karate-chop wrist snap I could get a good break on it—I didn’t have to do anything else. 8)
