Does being double jointed give you a advantage

#1

i found out that i am double jointed in my right shoulder which happens to be my throwing arm does this give me any advantage against a batter?

#2

Being double jointed isn’t really a thing. Joint hyper mobility rather, where you can stretch a joint farther than most people can is possible, but I don’t see any distinct advantages to it.

#3

I’m double jointed in both my shoulders i can jump rope with just my hands holding each other

#4

Advantages: further ranges of motion which corelates to more velocity
Disadvantages: more susceptible to injury because its loose and not as strong

#5

does it play along with accuracy? or just velocity

#6

Im not sure actually. It may be harder to control the ball because the joint is so loose but thats just a theory.

#7

it allows me to pitch often
