Just a quick question posed to all…This week i’m gonna be doing my de-loading week since i am just gonna have a very minimal amount of time to work out due mostly to my work schedule. Now the question is…Do i just step away from the gym the whole week? Or should I do like one set with a significantly lower amount of weight as Steven suggests in Tuff Cuff. Also, what should i do about my sprints? Cut them out or take away from some of the volume?
Fewer total sets with less weight. As for sprints, do whatever you have time for.
Yeah, generally what KC said, cut the volume. And you don’t need to be working near your max for the rep/weight. Definitely shouldn’t be thinking about any PRs.
I have also deloaded with just two lifting sessions and then active stuff like mountain biking/trail riding and basketball.
