I am going to the specialist about my wrist in a week, and I am leaning towards a cortisone shot. Its in my non throwing wrist, but I am also a hitter, and a good one at that, so i have to be able to swing. I’m the teams 3 hitter, so i need to be ready in 4 weeks for the summer season. I have had the tendinitis in the wrist since march 1st, and did all the icing, and treatments and rehab with the trainer, but cant shake it.
I’m posting this to see what you guys think about the cortisone shot. I have had one before, in my pitching shoulder, and it paid off to the extreme.
P.S.—I am “Needle Phobic”. So me saying I need the shot should give you the idea of the pain. I am unable to complete a swing bcuz of the pain, and FYI, I have an enormous pain threshold.
