Chalk

Well, I weas in the local sporting goods shop and came across blocks of chalk for lifting/gymnastics stuff.

I picked one up and two days ago was the first day I lifted with chalk.

IT WAS GREAT. I don’t use any straps and felt 100% confident of my grip on my final deadlift set. Usually by the last set I’m worried about losing the bar.
Everything feels a little bit lighter when your grip is solid.

If you have the chance I recommend investing in some, it’s cheap and provides a better workout really.

I have a setup in my home, although i should point out some really yuppy gyms don’t allow powdered chalk.
