Bob Feller

For those of you who don’t know, Bob Feller died today at the age of 92. He was and will always be remembered as one of the greatest pitchers of all time. He should also be remembered for being a patriot, serving in the US Navy during WWII.

RIP Bob Feller (November 3, 1918 – December 15, 2010)

I’ve been a Yankee fan all these decades, but I appreciate great pitching when I see it, and I saw a lot of it from Bob Feller. He was one of the all-time greats, and win or lose, he gave it everything he had and then some. We’re all going to miss him a lot. :frowning:

I read yesterday that when Robb Nen hit 102 mph in the 1997 series, they told Feller about it and he replied, “hell, that was my changeup!” RIP Rapid Robert.
