BioMechanical evaluations

Do you think it is over zealous getting BE’s for an eleven year old, since I am not very good at picking put what they can do better?

NOT AT ALL!!! And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I have a kid who at 8 had elbow problems and I can guarantee you it was not from overuse but horrible mechanics…ALL MY FAULT! Went to a Tom House seminar and it got me thinking about what I DON’T KNOW - A LOT!!!

We worked on my sons mechanics and he has had no problems and since we fixed a few things that were seen by the NPA group in a workout he has been fine for the most part.

I have since did video analysis with Dick Mills and I have learned a lot in terms of how to keep my kids arm healthy. They will tell you things that will definately help kids throw better but the most important thing for me was to focus on mechanics to keep him healthy.

We also always have the Flip camera on a tripod when we are out throwing. It can help you see things for yourself if you don’t want to fork out the bucks.
