I have to say Walter Johnson, i’m currently reading the biography on him, and by far one of the best baseball bios you can read I highly recommended it. I think the title off hand is called Baseballs Big Train Walter Johnson writen by his grandson. So much play by play action from the 1900s-1920s great stuff, and reading about this man will want to make you pitch. He only knew a fastball with no breaking stuff but he has the second in career wins 417 and number one in shutouts 110. He played on the worst team in baseball for the early part of his career but did great things for baseball. Want to be inspired, reading about this guy, probably the greatest pitcher that ever lived.
