had a game last night, it was drizzly and cold. Sitting in the dugout between innings, I was bundled up in layers, and tried to stretch and do some jumping jacks during long innings when my team was batting…
but when I went out for the fifth, it was getting colder and I was just so stiff … and, couple with the normal fatigue that starts gradually setting in in the 5th after 70 pitches or so, I had hit a wall… just so stiff and that stiffness made me feel more tired than i normally would be…
so what do you guys do between innings to stay fresh … stay fresh and loose but also conserve energy…
… it seems to be a double edged sword because while the chance to sit and relax between innings can help you re-juice yourself… it can also lock you up, get you tight … especially if its cold and wet outside.
