I’ve been weight training a little over a year and think that I’ve developed a pretty strong base for pitching (a year ago I was pretty unhealthy and weak). So I was wondering what is the best method to simply maintain strength gains when you’re not in a building stage.
I’ve heard that exercises like running work all the muscles in the body. Would this maintain everything I’ve gained without causing me to lose muscle mass? Or would it be better to just do a less intense version of the workout that I already do? Is there anything else that works?
