Best position

is there anyone good position for a pitcher when he is not pitching if he is dominantly a pitcher?

Probaly short stop

I would have to disagree. A pitcher is usually going to want to wind up while throwing the ball. This would take to long at an infield position where quick, accurate snap throws are a must. I would put most pitchers in the outfield.

Agree, outfield for sure. And you definitely wouldn’t put a lefty pitcher at shortstop EVER

Do you mean right after pitching, or if he is playing on a day when he is not pitching?

At a younger age I’d say catcher, I know it’s physically demanding but it will help the young pitcher better understand pitching and calling a game and help him understand the importance of location.
