Best baseball pitch counter?

Anyone have any suggestions? Ideally, I’d like an electronic pitch counter w/ the ability to track pitch count, strike %, and have a regular stopwatch…

Haven’t found one with all three!

I’m a pencil-and-paper guy, but my “pitch count mom” for the upcoming Little League Spring Season asked if she can use a pitch count “app” that is available for her iPhone. I had never heard of it, and am checking with the league!

Don’t know if this is what you need but, I looked it up and, yep, there are pitch count “apps” for both iPhones and Blackberries that seem to have most or all of the features you are looking for:

Now, a downside to these gadgets is that they lend to a gaggle of moms in the stands keeping track of pitch counts on their cell phones and talking at the same time, with inevitable discrepancies and arguments over whose pitch count is right.

Steve
I have the App. called Asst. coach that has all the features that you mentioned as well as the Umpire counter.
The app. was free but the only drawback is that it puts a drain on your phone.

Are most of you guys using phone apps?

I think I’m still a little “older school” in that i HATE seeing cellphones in the dugout! lol.

I went with Coach Dave’s Pitch Counter - http://www.amazon.com/Coach-Daves-Pitch-Professional-400/dp/B000P24L7G

I know it’s not much different but the aps are for the ipod touch and the ipad too…keeps the phone out of the dugout.

IMHO and I have tried most apps for most smart phones this app is far and away the best. The team page allows password protected downloads for most team, player, batting, and pitching statistics. The learning curve isn’t as hard as it looks and becomes very easy. Here is some links. Has IPad and Iphone capability. Hear a Android version is being developed.
