is it better to use elastic bands or a 5lb weight for your pitching exercises?
I personally use a combination. I think I get more out of using dumbells for my external rotation exercise and the band for my internal rotation exercise. Whne I’m laying on my side, I find it hard to get a good range of motion during my internal rotation so I stand up and use the band for it. I don’t know that one is better than the other. The main this is that you are doing rotator exercises. How you do them is secondary.
