Agility Ladder?

#1

should i buy an agility ladder for pitching? is it beneficial?

if yes anybody have any good drills?

#2

agility latter is beneficial for position players mainly. It really just helps you get quicker feet and gain agility, which is good for baserunning or fielding a hard hit ball. I dont think it is very useful for pitching.

Not true

Steven Ellis used it and he was a pro pitcher. Alot of pitchers use it to get explosive movement. Yes go out and buy one.

#4

it is def beneficial

it helps you maintain body control as you continue to grow and will help you with your all around pitching mechanics

Pitchers also have to field. And they need to be quick and use proper foot work. They also need to cover bases and back-up throws.

I wouldn’t buy one when for around $10 you can buy your own. They’re very expensive to buy and I’m sure you don’t want to spend that kind of money on a ladder.

ohk. thanks. is there at drills MR. Ellis did or any good pitching related aglility drills?

Haha yeah, I’m in the process of making one out of duct tape actually. Not sure how it’s gonna turn out, but it shouldn’t be half bad for all of 5 dollars.

This should give you some kind of start but you can be creative. I’m not sure what ones would be in your best interest for pitching.
