Advice on a 12-6 curve

I used to throw a slurve type thing that was pretty nasty, but the batters always hit it the 2nd time and I heard it’s kind of bad for my arm. So I figured it would be better to throw a slider and a classic, 12-6 curve. I have my slider down but the curve is confusing me. I’m using the right grip but I’m not getting the right movement. How do I throw it?

Wrist angle is more important than grip. Set your wrist and don’t try to snap it. Make small angle adjustments until you get the desired result.
