Things I think he needs to work on
- longer stride
- keeping back foot on ground
- glove stabilization
- leading with hips not shoulders
any thing I am missing?
also pitches in a game and pitches in a week?
How many how much ?

This isn’t to help him it’s purely a comment:
Compared to a lot of the 9 yr old’s mechanics and throwing motion i’ve seen he’s got some good stuff going for him. Sure his mechanics are a bit messy now but you can see that he has the basis down and has a very good (and swift) arm action for his age. I could see him throwing hard when he grows up.

A basic guidline would be as follows from the ASMI site:
Recommended limits for 9-10 year old pitchers:
50 pitches per game
75 pitches per week
1000 pitches per season
2000 pitches per year
In my totally unprofessional opinion, pitch counts can vary by a certain degree based on physical maturity and conditioning and should not be solely judged by age.
