Over the years, the main reason given for keeping shoulder exercises such as those found in Throwers 10 or Jobes at roughly 3 to 5 lbs is because anything higher in weight changes to focus of the exercise from the smaller rotator cuff muscles to the larger shoulder muscles.
But 5 lbs really seems light - especially for well-trained college and pro pitchers.
At what weight do you think is the max? Can/should you go higher than 5 lbs and still get the benefit?
