I’m doing 40 yard sprints weekly for some different cardio then Basketball, and was wondering the other day If I should do 40 yards or 90 feet for pitching specific strength.
Baseball players are measured in the 60.
You can do both I supposed.
I also like a timed sort of interval sprint workout.
Sprint for 20 seconds (pushing a weight sled, or with a weighted vest is good), rest for 10 seconds. The focus us covering the same amount of ground each time, 8 times through.
Ok cool I got a unofficial time in the 40 in the 4s but wanna work on the distance measured usually for baseball. Thanks again!
In the 4’s is really good.
Will be interesting to see if that converts to a comparable 60 time.
