17 year old RHP lookin to play college ball

FIRST OF ALL, I APOLOGIZE FOR THE MUSIC. IT WAS ON AT THE FACILITY I WAS THROWING AT.

i have a more smooth arm circle currently but have a lot of work to do before season.

i’m sitting 80-81 with my fb topping at 83.
i throw a 4 seam,2seam, knucklecurve, cutter, and circle change.
let me know what you think!
i feel i have a lot of work to do but i have a good frame and natural movement.

also i haven’t been gunned in like 3-4 months. how hard do you guys think i’m throwing my 4/2 seam in this video?

I think @ 2:07 mark that pitch is ~86 mph, and first pitch looks like 80-82,
last one looks like ~80-82 as well.

based on calculations by frames

(http://www.letstalkpitching.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14736) . But this is assuming you throw exactly same distance to catcher as in a real game.

haha, yes, i am at 60 feet 6 inches. and i appreciate the input. i don’t know why sometimes i’ll throw the ball a good 3 mph faster than the previous pitch. everyone doesn’t throw the same every pitch, but 3 mph is a lot.

Tough to tell from the angle but it looks like you plant pretty close to the end of that portable mound. If that’s truly the case, then you may be training yourself to shorten your stride which will affect your timing. I’d avoid doing that.

you would avoid using the mound alltogether?
and thanks, let me know if you see something mechanically.
