As he goes into knee lift, he has a big weight shift towards 2B. That’s unnecessary movement in the wrong direction which can be a source of inconsistency, makes him slower to the plate, and tips off baserunners that he’s going to the plate. It is easily eliminated by setting the feet closer together.
Strive for having the center of mass moving forward by peak of knee lift if not sooner.
