got this leg workout from a strength coach i was talking to...i only do it once a week as i usually do legs 3 times per week with the other 2 days consisting of squats, leg press, jump squats, and one legged leg press. well here it is:
walking lunges:3 sets of 10 each leg with 30 lb db's
step ups: 3 sets of 10 each leg with 30 lb db's
one legged deadlifts: 3 sets of 10 each leg with 30 lb db's
sumo squats: 3 sets of 10 with 75 pound db
i do these with 90 second rest in between each set and i found it to be quite the leg workout as well as being great for core stabilization. being a pitcher im loving these workouts because they really stress core stabilization and balance....especially the one legged deadlifts...very challenging but a great workout overall.
