Uhh sorry can't help you too much with this one. For sports in general I know the night before games its good to eat Spagetti but no clue if that would be pitching specific help.
Lean protein and slow digesting carbs. If you eat simple carbs, you'll get the spike and decline in energy levels.

For protein, just basic lean protein sources - chicken, lean cuts of red meat, and fish. For carbs, avoid high glycemic index items like white flour, white potatoes, white rice, and things of that nature.
