I'm 17 yrs old and a senior in high school. I'm 6'0 but have arms the size of someone who is 6'2. Although I only threw 83-85 last summer, D1 college coaches like me as a pitcher because of my build and arm action. Does the fact that I'm very lanky and have good arm action project future velocity?
not necessarily, but scouts think it does.

I'm in the same boat as you although a year younger. I'm 6'2 but my arms are easily abnormally long for me (actually only a few inches longer) but nonetheless, if the scouts like it good for us =p
Yes, having decent velocity with that build is projectable because, presumably as you put on size you'll add velocity. Doesn't always work out that way, but often it does.
